We help real estate lenders, borrowers, brokers and other professionals in the region—Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York—focusing on commercial real estate transactions: financing, workouts, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. We have extensive experience with real estate transactions from large to small, from boiler-plate to custom made. The firm provides lawyer services primarily to professionals in commercial real estate business from its headquarters in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

In financing transactions, The Lazovitz Firm reviews, analyzes, and negotiates all of the documents on the closing checklist, from primary documents such as promissory notes, loan agreements, and mortgages, to ancillary documents. We represent both borrowers and lenders in a range of financings, from conventional loans to the occasional capital market and securitized transaction. In acquisitions and dispositions, the firm reviews, analyzes, and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, and accompanying financing documents to the extent there is financing associated with the transaction. In leasing transactions, the firm represents landlords and tenants in the negotiation of lease documentation.

Joel Lazovitz has been around the real estate business his entire life, and The Lazovitz Firm began as a firm to help real estate business men, women, and organizations make and maintain great investments. Mr. Lazovitz’s expertise and enjoyment of his work brings unique value to his clients, and his entrepreneurial spirit drove him to start his own practice.
